The Comvergent Challenge Cup.
The Celtic Manor Resort in South Wales plays host to the inaugural Comvergent Challenge Cup golf day in September 2007.
This invitation-only event will be an exciting and exclusive opportunity for the Comvergent business team to meet, play golf, dine and relax with clients and associates in a breathtaking setting - The Celtic Manor Resort is also the venue for the 2010 Ryder Cup and the home of The Celtic Manor Wales Open, a European Tour Event.
A relaxed Stableford tournament will take place on the par 70 Roman Road course, ranked the top inland course in Wales. It takes its name from the ancient East/West highway of Roman Britain crossing its fairways to the nearby Roman fortress town of Caerleon. Bordered by woodland, the layout runs along a ridge with spectacular views, south across the Severn Estuary and north towards the mountains of the Brecon Beacons. This challenging course varies from the long open fairways of the front nine to a back nine that twists and turns through trees and across lakes and streams.
The accommodation and venue for dining is within the 5-star Resort Hotel.
